Temporary Closure of Garden State Parkway Ramp
Repair Work Begins Tuesday
SPRING VALLEY -- Portions of the ramp from northbound Garden State Parkway Extension to I-87 southbound will be closed for bridge repairs beginning 11 p.m. Tuesday, August 21 through 5 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
Motorists may experience delays. A detour route will direct motorists from the Garden State Parkway northbound ramp to Old Nyack Turnpike, and back onto I-87 southbound. Detour signs will be posted to guide motorists around the closure.
Electronic message signs and Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will be activated to advise motorists of closures and delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this time.
