Multiple Closures: I-90 On- and Off-Ramps at Walden Avenue and NY Route 33
Work Scheduled Monday Through Friday
The eastbound and westbound I-90 on-ramps and off-ramps at Walden Avenue (Exit 52) will be closed, as well as eastbound and westbound on-ramps and off-ramps for NY Route 33-Airport (Exit 51) for pavement rehabilitation, starting at 9 p.m. Monday, August 13, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today.
Ramp Closure Schedule for week of August 13
Monday, August 13 – 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Tuesday, August 14
- Westbound on-ramp from westbound Walden Avenue
- Eastbound on-ramp from eastbound Walden Avenue
Tuesday, August 14 – 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Wednesday, August 15
- Eastbound on-ramp from eastbound Walden Avenue
- Eastbound off-ramp to westbound Walden Avenue
Wednesday, August 15 – 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Thursday, August 16
- Eastbound off-ramp to westbound Walden Avenue
- Eastbound off-ramp to eastbound NY Route 33
Thursday, August 16 – 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Friday, August 17
- Eastbound off-ramp to eastbound NY Route 33
- Eastbound on-ramp from westbound NY Route 33
Friday, August 17 – 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Saturday, August 18
- Eastbound on-ramp from westbound NY Route 33
- Westbound off-ramp to westbound Route 33
All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Electronic message signs and Highway Advisory Radio (1610 AM) will be activated to notify motorists of the ramp closures and any resulting delays.
