Fuel Services Temporarily Suspended at Ontario Travel Plaza on I-90
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
ROCHESTER -- Fuel services will be temporarily suspended at the Ontario Travel Plaza on I-90 westbound beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012, the New York State Thruway Authority announced. Following routine fuel line testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later in the afternoon on the same day.
Restroom and restaurant facilities will continue to operate at Ontario Travel Plaza during the fuel testing process.
The Ontario Travel Plaza is located at milepost 376 westbound along I-90 between Exit 46 (Rochester, Corning, I-390) and Exit 47 (Rochester, LeRoy).
Westbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Clarence Travel Plaza located at milepost 412, between Exit 48A (Pembroke) and Exit 49 (Depew). The Clarence Travel Plaza is approximately 36 miles west of the Ontario Travel Plaza.
Fuel services will also be available at the Seneca Travel Plaza located at milepost 350, between Exit 44 (Canandaigua) and Exit 45 (Rochester). The Seneca Travel Plaza is located at 26 miles east of the Ontario Travel Plaza.
Motorists are advised to monitor the electronic signs posted along the roadway for updates.
