UPDATE, 1:30 p.m.: Traffic Moving on I-90 in Syracuse
SYRACUSE – Traffic flow has returned to normal on I-90 near Syracuse, the New York State Thruway announced.
Eastbound traffic had been slowed because of an accident between Exit 34 (Canastota) and Exit 33 (Verona, Rome) at milepost 256.9.
Westbound delays were due a vehicle fire between Exit 38 (Syracuse, Liverpool) and Exit 39 (Syracuse, Fulton) at milepost 287.0. Westbound delays at times extended from Exit 35 (Syracuse. East Syracuse) to Exit 39.
Real-time traffic conditions are available in the Syracuse area via Highway Advisory Radio at 1620 AM.
