TRAFFIC ADVISORY, 12:30 p.m.: Delays on I-90 in Syracuse
SYRACUSE – Motorists traveling I-90 near Syracuse may encounter delays both eastbound and westbound because of separate incidents, the New York State Thruway announced.
Eastbound traffic is slowed because of an accident between Exit 34 (Canastota) and Exit 33 (Verona, Rome) at milepost 256.9.
Westbound delays are due to a vehicle fire between Exit 38 (Syracuse, Liverpool) and Exit 39 (Syracuse, Fulton) at milepost 287.0.
Westbound delays may extend from Exit 35 (Syracuse. East Syracuse) to Exit 39.
Motorists familiar with the area may wish to seek alternate routes. Real-time traffic conditions are available via Highway Advisory Radio at 1620 AM.
