Thruway Authority Announces All Lanes Blocked I-87 Southbound Between Interchange 21B and 21
Motorists Should Seek Alternate Routes
The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that all southbound lanes are blocked along I-87 between Interchange 21B (Coxsackie-Ravena-US Route 9W-NY Route 81) and 21 (Catskill-Cairo-NY Route 23) due to a serious personal injury accident.
Motorists should seek alternate routes until further notice. All traffic is being temporarily diverted off at Interchange 21B. Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Variable Message Signs (VMS) are being used to notify motorists of the accident and delays.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
