Ashford Avenue Bridge Repair in Westchester County
WHITE PLAINS -- Motorists traveling on the New York State Thruway (I-87) southbound in Westchester County may encounter delays on Monday, July 2, due to continuing bridge repairs, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The repairs on the Ashford Ave Bridge on July 2 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. will necessitate lane closures on I-87 southbound between Exit 7A (Saw Mill River Parkway) and Exit 7 (Ardsley). This is a continuation of work begun June 29.
Delays are expected and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
Electronic message boards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this necessary work.
