Temporary Traffic Stops on I-87 Southbound
Night Work Scheduled for Tuesday June 19 in Rockland County

HARRIMAN -- Motorists on the New York State Thruway (I-87) southbound in Rockland County may encounter temporary lane closures on the night of Tuesday, June 19, during a traffic shift, the Thruway Authority announced.

The new traffic pattern will be established between Exit 16 (Harriman) and Exit 15A
(Sloatsburg-Suffern) between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m.

The traffic shift will necessitate multiple traffic stops, scheduled to last about 15 minutes each.

Electronic signboards will update motorists about expected delays.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this scheduled event.
