TRAFFIC ADVISORY, 1:30 P.M.: Delays on I-95 Near New Rochelle
Southbound motorists on the New England Thruway (I-95) can expect delays near Exit 16 (New Rochelle)), due to an earlier accident, the New York State Thruway announced.
A multi-vehicle accident was reported on southbound I-95 at milepost 5.8. All lanes are now open, but delays continue.
Travelers familiar with the area may wish to consider alternative routes.
Electronic message boards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) have been activated.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists' patience during these incidents.
