I-87 Exit 7A Ramp to Close Tuesday and Wednesday
Motorists Should Follow Alternate Routes
YONKERS -- Motorists on the Thruway (I-87) are advised that the southbound I-87 Exit 7A ramp to the Saw Mill River Parkway – Taconic State Parkway will be closed for maintenance work, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
The closure will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, and Wednesday, June 13, weather permitting.
Southbound motorists are advised to follow one of the posted detours:
- Continue on I-87 southbound to Exit 4 (Cross County Parkway). Take Cross County Parkway West to Saw Mill River Parkway.
- Take I-87 southbound to Exit 8A (Elmsford, NY Route 119); bear right to Route 119 and make left on Undercliff Avenue to Saw Mill River Parkway.
- Westbound I-287 motorists traveling southbound on I-87 may exit at Exit 1 on I-287, Tarrytown Road (NY Route 119); left at light to Route 119, make left on Undercliff Avenue to Saw Mill River Parkway.
Electronic signboards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays.
