Detours for I-190 Niagara Street Ramp Closures
Night Work Begins Monday, June 11
BUFFALO -- The closing of the southbound I-190 Niagara Street off-ramp (Exit 8) and the Niagara Street on-ramp to southbound I-190 is scheduled for between 7 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, and 6 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
Detour signs will be staged for southbound motorists needing to use the Niagara Street off-ramp (Exit 8) or motorists needing to enter southbound I-190 from Niagara Street.
Electronic message signs and Highway Advisory Radio (1610 AM) will be activated to notify motorists of the lane closures and any resulting delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
