Ramp Closure: Grand Island Boulevard (Exit 17) to I-190 Southbound
Motorists Should Follow Posted Detours.
BUFFALO -- The Grand Island Boulevard on-ramp at Exit 17 to southbound I-190 will be closed from 6 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, until 6 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, the New York State Thruway announced.
Contractors are scheduled to make concrete repairs to the ramp and shoulder during this time period.
A detour route will be posted. Electronic message signs and Highway Advisory Radio (1610 AM) will be activated to notify motorists of the lane closures and any resulting delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this time.
