Fuel Service Temporarily Suspended at Ardsley Travel Plaza on I-87 Northbound
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
Fuel service will be temporarily suspended at the Ardsley Travel Plaza on the Thruway (I-87) northbound beginning at 8 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.
Following routine line testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later in the morning on the same day.
Restroom and restaurant services at the Ardsley Travel Plaza remain available during the line testing process.
The Ardsley Travel Plaza is located at milepost 6 on I-87 northbound between Exit 6A (Yonkers) and Exit 7 (Ardsley).
Northbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza at milepost 33, located between 15A (Sloatsburg, Suffern) and Exit 16 (Harriman). The Sloatsburg Travel Plaza is located about 27 miles north of the Ardsley Travel Plaza.
Motorists are advised to monitor the electronic signs posted along the roadway for updates.
