Fuel Service Temporarily Suspended at CliftonSpringsTravelPlaza on I-90 Eastbound
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
Fuel service will be temporarily suspended at the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza on I-90 eastbound beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today.
Following routine fuel testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later in the afternoon on the same day.
Restroom and restaurant services at the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza remain available during the fuel testing process.
The Clifton Springs Travel Plaza is located at milepost 337, on I-90 eastbound, between Exit 43 (Manchester, Palmyra) and Exit 42 (Geneva, Lyons).
Eastbound travelers in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Scottsville Travel Plaza at milepost 366, between Exit 47 (Rochester, LeRoy) and Exit 46 (Rochester, Corning). The Scottsville Travel Plaza is about 29 miles west of the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza.
Fuel services also are available at the Port Byron Travel Plaza at milepost 310, between Exit 41 (Waterloo, Clyde) and Exit 40 (Weedsport, Auburn). The Port Byron Travel Plaza is located 27 miles beyond the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza.
Motorists are advised to monitor the electronic signs posted along the roadway for updates.
