Pavement Repairs Near Canandaigua
May Cause Delays April 10th
A pavement repair project will require a section of the Thruway eastbound driving lane to be closed near Interchange 44 (Canandaigua, Victor) beginning Tuesday morning, April 10, 2012, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today.
Weather permitting, full-depth pavement repair work will take place at milepost 347.75 beginning at 7 a.m. The section of driving lane will be closed around the clock until 12 p.m. Thursday, April 12.
During this project, motorists may experience moderate delays adding five to 20 minutes to the normal drive time during afternoon commuter hours.
The Authority will utilize Variable Message Signs (VMS) to alert eastbound motorists of the closure and any delays that may result.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this important improvement project takes place.
