Toll Lane Work at Interchange 39 Begins Monday
Commuters May Experience Minor Delays
SYRACUSE – Motorists may experience temporary delays because of scheduled reconstruction work on an entry lane at Interchange 39 (Syracuse, State Fair) beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, the New York State Thruway announced today.
The work may affect dedicated E-ZPass entry and/or exit lanes. Minor delays could occur, particularly during commuter hours.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-April.
Motorists are reminded that E-ZPass can be used in any open toll lane, but vehicles must come to a complete stop before proceeding through the interchange.
A Variable Message Sign will inform motorists of the work.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this scheduled replacement takes place.
