Diesel Fuel Service Suspended at Guilderland Travel Plaza on I-90
Gasoline Remains Available; Restrooms and Restaurants Open
Diesel fuel service is temporarily suspended at the Guilderland Travel Plaza on eastbound I-90 because of problems with the delivery system, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today, March 22, 2012.
Restroom and restaurant services remain open. Gasoline fuel service is available at the Guilderland Travel Plaza.
The Guilderland Travel Plaza is at milepost 153 on eastbound I-90, between Exit 25 (Schenectady) and Exit 24 (Albany).
Eastbound motorists in need of diesel fuel are advised to stop at the Mohawk Travel Plaza on I-90 at milepost 172, between Exit 27 (Amsterdam) and Exit 26 (Schenectady). The Mohawk Travel Plaza is 19 miles east of the Guilderland Travel Plaza.
Full fuel services also are available at the New Baltimore South Travel Plaza on I-87 at milepost 127, between Exit 21A (Berkshire Connector, Massachusetts Turnpike) and Exit 21 (Catskill, Cairo). The New Baltimore South Travel Plaza is 26 miles beyond the Guilderland Travel Plaza.
Electronic signs along the roadway and the Highway Advisory Radio (1610 AM) will provide updates on the diesel situation.
