Westbound Lane Reopened near Interchange 26 (Schenectady)
The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the westbound lane at milepost 161, near Interchange 26 (Schenectady, I-890 & Route 5S), has been reopened to traffic. The lane had been closed earlier this afternoon due to an accident involving a tractor trailer.
The Authority had activated its Variable Message Signs and Highway Advisory Radio 1610AM to alert motorist of the lane closures and delays.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
