Repairs to Tuckahoe Road Overpass on I-87 to Necessitate Lane Closures

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that lane closures on I-87 will be necessary in order to make repairs to the overpass spanning Tuckahoe Road.

Lane closures will be in place near Interchange 6 (Yonkers, Bronxville, Tuckahoe Road) northbound and southbound, from 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 18 until 6 a.m., on Friday, March 19. 

Additional lane closures will also be in place southbound only from 9 p.m. on Friday, March 19 to 6 a.m., on Saturday, March 20.  At least one lane will remain open to traffic.

Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR 530 AM) will be activated in order to advise motorists of the closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while these repairs are made.
