Traffic Advisory Update for Newburgh-Beacon Bridge
NYS Bridge Authority Advises No Oversized/Wide Loads Eastbound on Bridge

Earlier this morning, the New York State Thruway Authority announced a tractor trailer accident along I-84 eastbound in the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Toll Plaza. At this time, there are no oversized/wide loads being allowed to cross the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge eastbound.

The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Toll Plaza is located at milepost 41.2 eastbound along I-84.

Due to the accident, motorists traveling eastbound along I-84 and traveling across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge should plan for extended delays and watch for slow or stopped traffic. Motorists familiar with the area may wish to seek alternate routes.

The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge is under the jurisdiction of the New York State Bridge Authority.
