Thruway Authority Announces Northbound Entrance Ramp From I-287 to I-87, Exit 15 Now Open
Delays May Exist at Some Interchanges

The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the northbound entrance ramp from I-287 to I-87,Exit 15 has been reopened.

The ramp was closed early this morning due to severe flooding. Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and portable Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) were utilized where available to inform motorists of the closure. All lanes are open in that area, but delays may exist at some Interchanges, including Woodbury Toll Barrier, due to residual traffic from backups that occurred as a result of the flooding.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
