Thruway Authority Announces Pavement Repairs on I-84 to Necessitate Eastbound Lane Closures
Motorists May Experience Delays

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced pavement repairs will necessitate eastbound lane closures on I-84 beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2009, weather permitting.

On Monday, November 30, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., a single eastbound lane closure will be in place one mile west of Exit 7A (I-87, I-287) to Exit 7B (Route 300) in Newburgh.  In the event of inclement weather, the work will take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

The Authority will activate its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 1610 AM to advise motorists of the closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while this pavement repair work takes place.
