Guide Rail Repairs Along Ramp from Palisades Interstate ParkwaySouthbound to I-87 Northbound
Motorists Advised to Follow Signed Detour Route

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced guide rail repairs will take place along the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway ramp to I-87 northbound (Exit 9W) in Clarkstown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, weather permitting.

During the ramp closure, traffic will be detoured within the interchange area and motorists destined for I-87 northbound are advised to follow the posted detour signs.

The Authority will activate Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM to advise motorists of the closure.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience while this repair work takes place.
