 Guide Rail Repairs Along Ramp from Palisades Interstate Parkway Northbound to I-87 Southbound
Motorists Advised to Follow Signed Detour Route

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced guide rail repairs will take place along the northbound Palisades Interstate Parkway ramp to I-87 southbound (Exit 9E) in Clarkstown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, weather permitting.

During the ramp closure, traffic will be detoured within the interchange area and motorists destined for I-87 southbound are advised to follow the posted detour signs.

The Authority will activate Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530 AM to alert motorists of the closure.

The Thruway Authority appreciates patrons’ patience while this repair work takes place.
