Thruway Authority Announces Pavement Repairs Between Interchange 44 (Canandaigua) and Interchange 43 (Manchester)
Eastbound Motorists May Experience Moderate Delays

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced pavement repair work between Interchange 44 (Canandaigua) and Interchange 43 (Manchester) will necessitate daily lane closures in the right eastbound lane beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2009, weather permitting.

On Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13, from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., pavement repairs will take place in the right eastbound lane from milepost 344.3 to milepost 342.5.

Please note on Wednesday, November 11, there will be no scheduled lane closure due to the Veterans Day Holiday.

During this project, motorists may experience moderate delays. Moderate delays means that motorists’ travel times could be delayed 5 to 20 minutes longer than normal time.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this important improvement project takes place.
