Thruway Authority Announces Pavement Repairs Near Interchange 44 (Canandaigua)
Eastbound Motorists May Experience Moderate Delays
The New York State Thruway Authority today announced pavement repair work near Interchange 44 (Canandaigua) will necessitate daily eastbound lane closures beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009, weather permitting.
Beginning on Monday, October 26 through Thursday, October 29, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, and on Friday, October 30 from 7 a.m. until noon, pavement repairs will take place in the right eastbound lane from mileposts 350.0 to 348.0.
During this project, motorists may experience moderate delays. Moderate delays mean that motorists’ travel times could be delayed 5 to 20 minutes longer than normal time.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this important improvement project takes place.
