Thruway Authority Announces Temporary Closure of Interchange 41 (Waterloo/Clyde/Route 414) Westbound Exit Ramp

The Thruway Authority announced that the westbound exit ramp at Interchange 41 (Waterloo/Clyde/Route 414) has been temporarily closed due to a rollover accident involving a garbage truck that occurred earlier today.

It is anticipated that the ramp will remain closed for several hours while the truck is removed and the guiderail is recovered.

Westbound motorists who planned to exit the System at Interchange 41 are advised to exit the System at Interchange 42 (Geneva) and follow Route 318 to their destinations.

The Authority has activated its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to inform motorists of the closure.

The ramp will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
